Our Role

The Bellevue PTSA Council represents and supports the 28 PTAs in the area of Bellevue School District and develops leadership skills. The Council is a member of Region 2, one of 12 regions in the state of Washington. Together, we are the Washington State PTA.
Our membership meets monthly, usually on the first Monday of the month, at 9:30 am. The PTSA Council meetings provide local unit representatives the opportunity to hear from and talk with district administrators and with one another and to receive other information of interest to the students, families and PTSA units in the Bellevue School District. |

The Mission of the Bellevue PTSA Council is to support and strengthen our local PTAs, and to promote the welfare of children and families in the home, school, and community.

Our Goals
|
Bellevue PTSA Council works in partnership with the WSPTA and local PTAs, Bellevue School District, Bellevue Schools Foundation, other community partners, and the community at large to pursue our goals:
· Advocating for children and families on relevant issues at the local and state level; · Facilitating information exchange between and Training and mentoring local PTAs; among our local PTAs, school district, and community organizations; · Promoting parent involvement by providing a district-wide forum for discussion and action on issues that affect our children; · Building greater involvement of a more diversified community to better reflect our community at large. |
